Co-Create. Collaborate. Illuminate.
Bird City Improv contracts experienced teaching artists to facilitate our courses and workshops. As a part of our Play It Forward initiative, all teaching artists are paid a competitive commission, reflecting our belief in pay equity and hope for sustainability in the arts. These fine humans are powerful artist and leaders who offer a diverse range of experiences, centering the wisdom of BIPOC, queer, and femme people in the learning space. Find our collaborators on social media or send us an email to get in touch.
Bird City Improv believes in decentering authority. We are not the masters of improv. In fact, we do not believe in mastery. We believe in change, learning as we grow. We believe in the collective wisdom of diverse experience. Don't just study with us. See what's out there. Check out other theatres, schools, and training programs. And don't forget to support your local theatre community. Need help finding resources? Contact us for recommendations.
