Improv & Vulnerability
Ironically, there is as much potential to be found in failure as there is in success. Failure is an essential step in every process, so in personal and professional settings it is imperative that we take ownership of our anxieties, and embrace our shortcomings to achieve our potential. Why? Because fear of failing induces failure. In this applied improv workshop, students will learn about the power of communicating with vulnerability through cooperative activities which facilitate self-awareness, test emotional intelligence, and cultivate empathy. Participants will walk away with tangible skills that combat feelings of inadequacy, promote active listening, and create meaningful connections between friends and colleagues.
